caddy lack

Above is a flyer I just cranked out for our next H-town party. I have been bumping a fair amount of Too Short lately and was inspired by his classic Born To Mack cover art.

new polaroid scans

I have been meaning to scan my most recent Polaroid flicks and I finally got around to it. These are straight scans, no Photoshop work what so ever. I am out of film, so unless I find some laying around, these may be the last batch you see from me for a while. I have a few random things I could scan but I think I should space those out over time. Enjoy!

the color of her skin

Two albums that have been in heavy rotation lately. Marin Gaye "Trouble Man" and Roy Ayers "Coffy". I actually scooped a VHS copy of Coffy a while back at Movie Trading Company and wondered why I never owned the soundtrack. I have had Trouble man for years on wax but recently found a cd copy for the car and the Serato crates. Certain tracks make me picture myself in a 70's Lincoln that takes up half the block. One can fantasize!

The homie Prince William just gave me my Christmas gift. This iIl HUF 5 panel that compliments my collection nicely. HUF's new line looks pretty proper. The plaids are what's up. Thanks Will!!!

lo pro

Polo Ralph Lauren just re released the long overdue "Ranger" boot for the first time since the 90's. The "Ranger" aka "Cookie Boot" is a classic when rocked correctly (not with starched Guess jeans and a Dallas Cowboy jersey). Dust off that color block rugby shirt and cop a pair.

all that jazz

This has got to be my favorite Christmas gift that I received this year. Supreme teamed up with Sony/ Columbia and re released three of Miles Davis' classic albums. On point as usual from the Supreme camp. All of the cds are digitaly remastered and packaged in small record sleeves. "On The Corner" is actually gate fold! The details are all there, inner record sleeves with the Columbia logo and the whole bit. If you are a Miles Davis fan, I suggest tracking these down and adding them to your collection.

bun b :: the hundreds

If you are in the Houston area on Saturday (I will be), swing through and holler at the homies over at Premium Goods. Bring a wad of that Christmas scrilla for this H-town x The Hundreds exclusive. Remember to bring a sharpie and that copy of "Ridin' Dirty" because the legend Bun B himself will be in the building holding it down. Maaaaaan!
